Having seen how local services are falling short for young people and families, both first-hand and when setting up a social enterprise to assist families during the pandemic, I’m standing for election to fight for better support and accountability, and to improve services for all families. As a small business owner, I also understand the pressures facing local businesses and the frustrations of red tape and rising costs. Although I haven’t held elected office before, I bring extensive experience from roles in the NHS and private sector, which I am committed to using to make a real difference for our community.
